Not everyone of our teams is an A Team

If we are honest with ourselves, not everyone of our location’s management teams are created equally.  We have some management teams that do everything by the book, they rely on systems and processes and they execute at a very high level. They do not operate this way because someone is watching them but because they understand that they will be more successful if they do. Let’s use the Pareto Principle and say that these great management teams represent 20% of our total management teams.

Then we have the remaining 80% of our management teams. They bridge the gamut of really good teams to our worst teams and everything in between.  The problem that so many management teams face is how do we build systems and processes that equally apply to the best and the worst teams?
